Updated Home Page with Loan Transactions (PRD)

Background

As the DeFiChain product ecosystem grows, it is important for DeFi Scan to iterate in tandem with these updates so that the community can continue to scan all activities taking place on the blockchain. The home page of DeFi Scan being prime real estate, it requires a high level of iteration in order to continuously bring high visibility to the latest features and data on DeFiChain — in this case to support the upcoming loans product.

Objectives

Foundation objective

• To engage the community by showcasing latest DeFi products that are offered on DeFiChain

Users objective

• To have a snapshot of key activities taking place on DeFiChain

User story 1: User wants to gain a snapshot of key activities taking place on DeFiChain

Users land on DeFi Scan's homepage and wants to have an overview of key activities, including newly minted blocks, latest transactions, and latest loans taken.

Proposed features/ interactions: (1) Additional section on the homepage to showcase latest loan transactions on DFC

• To include key Loan statistics:
  • How many vaults are open
  • How much collateral is locked in
  • How many total loans are taken out (and the equivalent in USD)
  • Spread of collaterals: DFI : other tokens
• Each tile should include the following loan information (Light wallet UI for reference):
  1. Type of loan (e.g. TSLA, GOOGL)
  2. Loan amount (Or remaining balance, because partial loan repayment might have happened already)
     1. Token amount
     2. In USD
  3. Interest rate
  4. Transaction ID of the loan transaction (with the ability to click into /:txid page)
  5. Corresponding Vault ID (with the ability to click into /vault/:vaultid page)

  3. Liquidity pools
  4. Loans

Potentially for heavy iteration, as the data are not yet indexed now.

Possibly include:

• types of loans you can take
• types of collaterals you can use in the vault
• breakdown of vaults scheme and how many vaults are opened within that scheme, how much value are locked in each scheme
• pretty sure there are many more but some and more useful than other
