Indicate parameters passed into the application #104

Based on this conversation.

Users can pass in command-line parameters to override certain settings, but only while the app is running. Closing and starting it again would go back to the default settings. How can we inform users which settings are temporarily overridden?

We already have an issue for this with #44. Closing this one.
