... easily see how long it will take to finish
... understand what I can and can't do during IBD
... pause and resume in case I want to use the computer for something else, or temporarily reduce bandwidth/CPU usage
... learn more about this process (and bitcoin) while waiting
The last screen in onboarding is a primer about the IBD that should inform users that it will take some time. They also just went over some basic storage/connection options and should be good to go. This issue is for considering the experience after onboarding, until the IBD is complete. It will likely involve the block clock icon and its various states in the header bar, the block clock screen, and blocked activities like sending.
