This is amazing, thanks a lot for publishing this. Do you also plan to enhance the decompressor?

Thanks for checking this out.

For the decompression there's not much to be gained in absolute terms, and SIMD is not an option. But there may still be some relative gain to be achieved. Let me look into that :)
