I'd vote for the tags to be

• "Ongoing"
• "Applications Open"
• "Coming Soon"

Also for the copy lets simplify and call it:

Cohort Starts on [Month] Cohort Starts in [Date]

For the headline, lets remove "Study Cohort" as the word "Cohort" figures in the sub-header when we mention when it does begin.
