Used cross platform script: python ./youtube.py 300 ../youtubeLinks.txt 77 10000

After a hours of usage i expected grow in the YouTube analytics related to time of views - but it still not increased.

Bitwise-01 commented 6 years ago

Yeah, they patched it. This program won’t work anymore, I will have to find another way to get views.

what about selenium webdriver? have i reason to try rewrite with selenium or this not so cheap solution?

i have created draft script, everything works fine - but i have single location in Tor during each new opened window. And initial/parental window should be opened manually. Supported OSX only right now. https://github.com/ice1x/yobotor

What you need are dedicated proxies and Selenium. you can run selenium server or selenium grid with 10 or 20 or 50 or 100 session support. You will want to assign the same fingerprint to each IP. Same user agent, same browser, same IP. Then you should be able to provide views with each of these concurrent sessions on a timer. It takes quite a bit of resources to run 50 concurrent selenium instances and buy 50 ips. So is it worth?

You can also get on IP rotators that rotate an IP every 3 or 5 minutes. 5 minutes would be ideal for youtube to watch an entire or partial video. The problem with Selenium is in order to make it easy you must use proxies that let you whitelist your IP and not authenticate with a key or user/pass basic authentication. Unless you want to install extra plugins and a bunch of crap.
