Legacy MacZFS - Archived here due Google-code shutdown. Automatically exported from code.google.com/p/maczfs -- Do Not Use! Use https://openzfsonosx.org/
I have an external HD, which I wanted to share between a Mac OS X machine, and
an Ubuntu one.
Since MacZFS has a lower ZFS version, I've created created the pool on the Mac
(version 0.74.2)
I've been using it for some time, without any problems.
At some point, I've started using another HD, which I've attached to the pool
as mirrored device.
My general workflow, is to connect the first HD (either to Ubuntu or Mac),
import the pool, use it, then export it and disconnect it.
Once in a while, I connect both HDs and import the pool, so that the second is
resilvered.
This worked fine, until one day, where I connected the first HD to the Mac,
imported the pool... and a resilvering started (!!!), which doesn't make sense.
Now, I assume that this should NOT happen.
