zpool online kernel panic #99

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Config:
2 drives in MacPro case mirrored.
3rd drive in an esata enclosure (SansDigital TR4MP).

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Attach the estata drive to the mirror
  sudo zpool attach zdrive disk1s2 disk6s2
  Resilver completes succesfully.

2. Reboot computer.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to see a good 3 drive mirror. What I got is this:

$ zpool status zdrive
  pool: zdrive
 state: DEGRADED
status: One or more devices could not be opened. Sufficient replicas
exist for
    the pool to continue functioning in a degraded state.
action: Attach the missing device and online it using 'zpool online'.
   see: http://www.sun.com/msg/ZFS-8000-2Q
 scrub: resilver completed with 0 errors on Fri Sep 16 23:32:47 2011
config:

    NAME         STATE     READ WRITE CKSUM
    zdrive       DEGRADED     0     0     0
      mirror     DEGRADED     0     0     0
        disk1s2  ONLINE       0     0     0
        disk2s2  ONLINE       0     0     0
        disk6s2  UNAVAIL      0     0     0  cannot open

errors: No known data errors

When I attempt to online the drive
    $ zpool online zdrive disk6s2

the result is a kernel panic.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I've got the most current MacZFS rev on OSX 10.6.8.

Please provide any additional information below.

I've attached panic-decode results.
