Hi,
We just mirror this tool, which haven't been touched in eleven years. We don't own any copyright, or have any right to change the original license. You might want to get in contact with the original developers mentioned in the readme or via the THC website.

I'm a Debian maintainer! I would like to ask a question: Your package was once part of the Debian repositories, but was removed because the "amap" license conflicts with the free software's basic clauses in items 1 to 5.
Was any contact made with you at the time about the possibility of adjusting the "amap" license, so that it could be adjusted?
I would be interested in reintroducing it and maintaining it in Debian.
Would you be interested in amap being part of the Debian repositories?
Best, Nilson Silva
