Question

ISO use: BlackArch NetInstall

I attempted to install BlackArch by following the official guide for beginners (https://blackarch.org/blackarch-install.html). My goal was to dual boot it with my Windows 11 system.

I opted for the netinstall to ensure that I only installed the BlackArch OS without any additional default tools. Following the script "blackarch-install" as instructed, I had previously created a 30GB free space while flashing my pendrive where I intended to install BlackArch.

However, during the setup partitions step, I encountered confusion. I couldn't find the 30GB option and assumed that the entire drive size was being referred to. Fearing that I might accidentally delete my Windows and lose important data, I hesitated to proceed.

What steps can I take to resolve this issue and proceed with a hassle-free installation without risking my Windows data?

You should use fdisk to create the partitions you need alongside Windows and then skip the cfdisk step in the installer then just specify your mount points in the next steps.
