Yepp, I know. ;) (The version thingy.) Solution is not to fix the widget, but the version.txt file.
Seems to be fixed so far.
I made a fix in Addons helper to remove leading letters in the version string. This should solve this issue.
I just did a fresh install with the package provided on your site – seems to be fixed.
The dashboard widget for the update check reports that the current version is outdated, even if i running the latest version (just downloaded from your site). I think this is because the local version string starts with a "v" and the remote version string starts with the first digit.
If i click the "Jetzt erneut prüfen" Button i get a couple of PHP notices, as you can see in the screenshot below. This error error occurs many times using the backend – i will create a separate ticket for this.
