This is caused by PHP versions < 5.3. I have solved this issue for v1.0.1, which will show an appropriate error message instead. This issue is for information purposes. ;)
Please note that BlackCat CMS requires PHP v5.3, so you will not be able to install it on PHP 5.2 or below!
