[5 month later...] Would BlackSharkCode update this repository? #2

I bought Black Shark 3S, Is the repository here not updated anymore, can you provide a device tree and kernel like Xiaomi?

Probably no more releases, Not releasing kernels for all models at this point is a clear violation of the GPL license. Simply put, it's a violation of the law worldwide.

It's the same problem as Xiaomi a few years ago.

@chenTest2019 Look at this site. http://bbs.blackshark.com/portal.php They are a festival... I tried using it, but it's not a forum, it's just an electric bulletin board. Also, I tried to contact them, but it was a manual BOT (China Contact Page)...

You may get good results by contacting this email address, developer@blackshark.com ...no, it's an illusion.

There were two reasons(Only my thoughts) why Black Shark lost compared to the Xiaomi device.

But when the kernel is available, it's only a short time to take world hegemony. I commend this decision👍

I did some research about promises from Blackshark/Xiaomi and i'm really worried!

Sources for Blackshark 2 were promised but NEVER released! see: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/kernel-sources.3942007/ , https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/bs2-sources-out-soon.3949267/ or just use google, there are 100ths of threads where BS promised the sources!! Furthermore, Xiaomi promised to release kernel sources within three months after launch : https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-aims-to-release-kernel-source-code-for-new-devices-within-3-months-after-launch/ Blackshark is Xiaomi...

Still no sources! one full year is MORE than enough to release the sources!!

All those information lead to the conclusion that Blackshark/Xiaomi is lying to their customers and scaming them with false promises! Very dishonorable!

So Blackshark, if you dont agree that you are scaming your customers, a rebuttal of the evidence above can be achieved by publishing the kernel source codes (BS2, 3, 3s, 3pro)!

Do the customers really have to sue/report you to get what you promised? Just release the sources, that's WAY easier and produces less complications for both sides!

Where i can file a complain? I suggest yall should too. I want to because my money and time just got decieved by this company? I want to return and refund my Blackshark 3 coz still no kernel sources in 1 year? IS THIS A ROBBERY?

Yea, It's robbery! Even if you make a complaint, they'll ignore it. So what we do is remind "you not to buy BlackShark" in SNS and BlackShark Official Forum. Don't buy Xiaomi either. And let's make a complaint to them. For global contacts, china contacts, and developer contacts. They return nothing and ignore it, but they definitely receive the statement!!! I don't wanna increase the number of new victims anymore.

First of all, let's spread this PR to SNS.

Oneplus nord n10 looks pretty decent (if you don't need the graphics power of snapdragon 865). Also, it's about half the price (with AUX and 5G) and Oneplus already released the source long ago, actually 1 Month after release! Look here Blackshark, THIS is the meaning of "as fast as possible"!

China quality. Probably they are using proprietary code and cannot be published.

The first issue has not been resolved in the first place. (Instead, volunteers publish a decent Kernel Tree.)

A few days ago I send an email asking for the Kernel Sources for the BS4 and they answered this: We have not heard BS4 KR releasing to public yet as support

At this point I don't think they will release anything

They are definitely liars. That's Black Shark. Hi @XiaoMi, @MiCode? Is not it no doubt? It's the inheritance of a rotten parent company. They have no compliance or anything close to it. Please be assured!

I'm sure, i won't have response but i try. on blackshark 2 pro, you promise update for december 2021, we are in april. Your software is so bad... We doesn't have security update. It's time to release kernel source code. Community could build à LineageOS for blackshark!
