Friend Requests generating notifications

Hi,

wouldn't it be nice to have friend confirmation events also appearing in the 
feed?  People like to know who of their friends is befriending whom, and then 
also befriend those... 

Or is that too clique-building? Can we have some input?

I think this is fine.  There will be effects one way or another.  The negatives 
might include people not wanting to accept embarassing friend requests (say, 
from an unpopular teacher or family member) since they are immediately visible 
to friends and classmates.  More positively, it provides immediate social 
validation in front of an audience, and could result in others friending the 
new addition.

Lets do it.

Less confident about notifying on modification of relationship status (eg fried 
-> boyfriend or spouse -> co-worker).

I can see new friendships now. But I am an admin, so not sure if everyone can 
see...
