Thanks for all the info provided when reporting this issue. I'm actively working on resolving it and will update you as soon as I have a solution. In the meantime, please continue trying to upload the TFT to your Nextion display and let me know if you have any success.
Regarding the error message you encountered, I understand it might seem alarming. However, these messages are often less serious than they appear and are likely to be resolved once the TFT upload is successful.
Hi @ARowbot, I've pushed a new code for this, but it still on dev
. If you wanna give it a try, just change in the remote_package
area, from ref: main
to ref: dev
, install it again and try to upload the TFT you already have (from main
, please don't use the TFT from dev
for this try).
After that try, please remember to change it back to ref: main
and install it again.
Thanks for your commitment.
I've started the upload, I have realised that I have a much larger (older) tft file so the upload is still going but the logs seem like a success on dev mode so far. I've attached the logs and will update again when fully finished. logs_nspanel3_run (1).txt
Update: Dev install was successful (with old blueprint and tft file accidentally), no longer showed error on nspanel. I had to update Home Assistant etc in between as I could not reimport blueprint without doing so. Changed esphome nspanel file back to main and then reinstalled with new blue print, new tft file from github and latest esphome.
No errors seen in logs during update of new tft on main. Thank you for your help.
I've tried to install a new nspanel in the same way that I have done my previous 2. Unfortunately when I was updating the TFT display, it stopped and failed at about 30%. Since then I have been unable to get it off the system data error page. I have tried reflashing via Jumper cables but to no avail. Here are my logs from the latest attempt:
