Css is all over the place #6

The theme switching was tacked on to the existing components. It lacks a certain, elegance when it comes to css. It would be nice to break out the classes into more component specific sections, like the label and selected classes. This would make it easier to theme the app, and would reduce the number of calls to the theme service.
