How to compute distance.matrix for the spatialRF::rf_spatial function #15

I have a data.frame containg 5 columns. The first column is the dependent variable and the rest are the independent variables. When running the (default) spatialRF::rf_spatial function I am getting this error: Error in spatialRF::rf_spatial(model = ntl ~ ., data = block.data, distance.matrix = NULL,: The argument 'distance.matrix' is missing.

I tried setting the distance.matrix = NULL but still the same error. Can anyone help me understand how to compute the distance.matrix using my dataset?

A very small sample of my dataset:

block.data = structure(list(ntl = c(11.4058170318604, 13.7000455856323, 16.0420398712158,
