Good idea the virtual neuron driver has not yet reached alpha testing yet and it is still experimental. We can detect alpha, beta, and gamma waves but still have a problem with theta waves. I think we can help stroke patents and people with spinal cord injuries, but helping the mentally ill is still far away. Human testing seems to be doing well. The testing in 2013 on mice and apes seems to work quite well, but we still need to do more research and analysis of any possible issues and side-effects.
Human beings are a lot different from mice and apes. Let have a discussion with the biochemists and neuroscientists about this more before we do something that harms a human being due to a glitch or bug. Remember this code has to be bulletproof, hackerproof, crashproof, realtime, and high performance.
Generalram is getting the latest kernel code from Linux. I think Linus had cussed him out in email over it, and that to remind us to always keep the best quality code or else he looks bad. I don't think Linus wants anything to do with this fork of his code, but credit has to be given to him and the others as well as GNU for the original code. Linus refuses to acknowledge us, refuses to admit to even talking to us, so this is sort of a black ops right now that the public cannot know about.
Generalram is currently working on his laptop as his main PC blew out the motherboard due to a fan failing. He is ordering the new motherboard and fan to fix it. Expect delays. After February we should have a budget to buy him a better PC, and then things should go faster.
Richard Stallman told me that it would be better if we worked on GNewSense or one of the other GNU/Linux distros. Instead of just creating a new one, we should instead work on an existing one. My sister Eris is correct that we have to credit Linus, GNU, FSF, RMS and others.
This is a new technology, quantum computing, it uses qubits instead of bits. Most people don't even understand quantum mechanics, m-theory with super strings and quarks, general relativity, and all that they think exists are Integers and three dimensions. That means we may have to write this new OS from scratch and just ditch GNU/Linux. It will just confuse anyone with an IQ under 150. I already lost some Facebook friends over this because they don't understand what I am talking about and they think it is science fiction or something. If I, for example mention imaginary numbers I get told I am making it all up.
We are making this way too complex. I think we are even scaring some people. Future shock and all of that.
I'll take what source I got and upload it. Then I will wait for some feedback from you, the community, and anyone who wants to support us or help out in a way. We are very understaffed and underbudget, so we cannot pull this off by ourselves.
People are scared out of ignorance. They don't know these things generally accepted in the scientific and technology communities. The advanced math and advanced science is peer reviewed and available in scientific journals and medical journals. Not our problem if they refuse to learn.
I am certain that we can succeed where all others have failed. We can modify the programming languages to use qubits, we can use QEMU to simulate the virtual neurons, we can control it in gFORTH, and we can make it all work.
There are many disabled people out there that are counting on projects like this to work, we cannot let them down. We are not doing it for the fame or fortune, we are doing it to help the less fortunate. When done this will usher in a new age for human beings to become homo superiors, the singularity will occur, humans and machines will become one, we become cyborgs and out computers will be part of our brain like another cortex.
Neurochips are in human trials right now. The operating system used isn't very good, but it works. We can add in support for neurochips to replace the poor quality operating system with Blastarix and add in Forth support for cybernetic limbs and cameras to replace eyes and microphones to replace ears for the blind and deaf respectfully.
