We were able to extract some operating system information from the host using OS fingerprinting. While this process cannot always identify the operating system running on the host with 100% accuracy, it can usually narrow it down to broad OS families (e.g. Windows, Linux) which can be useful to attackers wishing to refine their attack strategy.
