Resolves #81

@mtscout6 do you think this is good to go? I restarted the failed build but a couple of tests are still timing out.

Let's hold off until we can investigate this race condition. I re-triggered the continuous-integration/travis-ci/pr build which is the result of merging this PR with master, and it failed. When it had passed before. I don't know why there would be a race condition here but there is for some reason.
