I am currently trying to use the host capacities of the CH554. I have used the c51_to_sdcc.py tool and made minor editing to get the code to compile with SDCC. I have tested quickly it was able to detect a USB mouse (not tested Keyboard, printer, AOA, as mentioned in the source code).
[ Also used FREQ_SYS=16000000, since I am using an ElectroDragon CH554 board ;-) ]
