SLP (Simple Ledger Protocol) support? #239

Just to ask if there is any plan to support the SLP ecosystem on BCH.

Hi,

We’re closely monitoring the progress of SLP, but it seems there’s no real-world usage of it yet…

Also I think if some token protocol was integrated into the full node software (e.g. Bitcoin ABC) and its RPC API, it’d tons easier for developers to integrate that into existing products.

Thanks for the reply. Regarding real world usage I know "spice" is used a bit, and the USDH stablecoin (1:1 with dollar) is even quoted on a few exchanges (https://www.honestcoin.io/).

There is no plan for "official" BCH clients to handle SLP, maybe except Bitcoin Verde (I'm not sure though), but you can use the official SLPDB software to implement a block explorer: https://github.com/simpleledger/SLPDB
