Invalid Merkle Proof #166

Description

Submitting this on behalf of another user -

Hello, I just consolidated some UTXOs, and the transaction went through with a dozen confirmations or so, but my wallet software (Blockstream Green) is showing a red flag with the message "Invalid Merkle Proof." I've never seen this before, and I haven't found much information online.

At the risk of doxxing myself, here is the transaction ID.

Expected behaviour

Unsure if this is a bug or correctly pointing out a non standard transaction

edit - followup from troubleshooting -

" I use Blockstream Green with a Jade hw wallet. I turned off SPV verification, and the error message is still there, but only when I am logged into my watch only wallet. When I connect to my Jade, the error message isn't there. So that makes me feel better, but I don't understand it."

I am having the same issue all-of a sudden! Never happened before . Turning off SPV verification can fix it as it does not show any verification anymore, but I want to know what causes it . Do you know by now as your post is from 1,5 years ago?
