Act slowly, so any activity is better performed by a player

(rhotator) Turn 90degrees
(wheel) Step forward one block
(piston) "Climb" up and forward one block
(nodedetector) Get the name of the node in front of it
(dispenser) Place a block
(dispenser) Use an item (not regular tools, see dispenser)
(movestone) Push nodes
(portable chest) Carry nodes
I think 5 of these abilities at a time should make the desired actions possible, you cal always have multiple robots or use pistons / movestone to move them around if
