If it would be done, than it will be used to change the recipes for all the circuits each time a new process technology is reached. And in the current version, there are only 1-3 recipes need to be changed.
@SapientMC not a big problem considering that there is hardly a need in any particular machine for autocrafting that requires overwriting the recipe once reached a new circuit tier. I have only had Nq reactors and steam turbines on autocraft, one for each voltage from LV to LuV. If I was to change those once I reached the next circuit tier, it would still be inside 1-3 recipes mentioned above.
Hardly anyone encodes every machine of the current tier for autocrafting. And of all the components only Emitter, Sensor, Field Generator (used for so few machines) and Robot Arm require circuits. Even if the time to reencode those was to be added, it would still be less than a minute for each tier IMO. Too little to loose compared to the advantages this feature creates.
Ok. But, probably, in the beginning it is necessary to finish current icons and names of circuits? The default option is extremely confusing and incomprehensible. In our texturepack, thanks to the color differentiation of technical processes and the tier indication, the picture is getting better. But how do the rest of the players understand all this diversity?
Don't know what is your problem in linking the textures to the respective circuits in the default version, seems fine for me, except maybe for the bottom 2 circuits of MV tier (They are supposed to be at least somehow different as far as I can recall, maybe you have placed one of them 2 times there).
For the micro X processors I would reuse the existing accet, just painting the dots in the color of the respective tier. Seems enough for me.
If you have some relevant suggestions to the default textures, it is always better to form them as a separate issue or in a PR.
There are same circuits on both pictures. So they are really have same default textures.
@SapientMC what texture pack are you using?
@bHXDgiuMa5yLHyC8 Its textures for my modpack. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwDgvAw8yTNXRnRaaUdVNmtEU0k
@SapientMC thanks, these textures are excellent
All besides wetware circuits already have an SoC recipe that is cheap on material side but needs higher tier machines. Shoud be exactly what is asked for here.
No it is not. Does not matter how a crystalprocessor is carfted, with crystal soc or with normal recipe, it still cannot be used in the crafting recipes of EV machines.
In 5.09.31 a great new circuit was added: Microprocessor. Why this circuit is so unique? After .28 all circuits are divided into tiers. Vacuum Tubes for ULV Integrated Circuits for LV Integrated Processors for MV Nanoprocessors for HV Quantumprocessors for EV Crystalprocessors for IV Wetwareprocessors for LuV Each tier only went upwards, not downwards. This resulted in player forced to use all circuits of the tier he/she is on and the most basic circuits of EVERY previous tier. F.E. at IV I was using all forms of Crystalprocessors, but for EV machines I still needed to use Quantumprocessors, because Crystalprocessors are just too advanced for them. Also I had to craft Nanoprocessors for HV machines, Integrated Processors for MV machines and Integrated Circuits for LV.
With the addition of Microprocessors the circuit system became lot more flexible. Now I can completely abandon redundant processing lines of Integrated Circuity automation and only craft at least Integrated Processors, turning them into Microprocessors for LV machines.
But it is the time to move further!
