Also tried using Oracle jre 1.8 with no luck.
Not sure what could be causing that issue (all development and testing is done on Linux as I don't even own a Windows machine).
Are you using the latest version of Creatio (from CurseForge) on both machines?
Yes. It's 0.4.7.2 for both.
Is it only the player who can't place blocks into sieves, or does the auto sieve work?
The auto sieve also doesn't accept any blocks.
Can you please provide the mod list.
Alright I've went through and removed everything except for:
Same issue is still happening. Can't use the sieves at all.
I've now tested it in single player on linux with just these same mods installed:
Same exact issue. I can insert the meshes, but can't use blocks on the sieve.
Is there any output in the console when you attempt (and fail) to insert a block?
No console output.
Have you had this issue at all on 1.12.2 on your machine?
I recently tried migrating a server running a Project Ozone 3 skyblock world from Windows 10 to Linux. Everything seemed to work flawlessly except for this mods sieves. They wouldn't accept any of the blocks. Tried with multiple different mesh types and multiple different blocks. Sand, dirt, gravel, etc. This applied to all players on the server. Also didn't work with things like hoppers. The sieve block simply won't work. If there was already a piece of gravel, sand, etc in the sieve before transferring it over, it would allow the user to finish sifting it but then wouldn't allow the user to insert any more blocks. Tried reinstalling just ExNihiloCreatio jar to no resolve. All the JEI recipes for sieves are still there. After moving the server back to Windows, everything worked flawlessly again. I'm using openJDK 1.8.0 on the linux server. Planning to reinstall a different version of java next to see if that helps but it seems that all the other mods in the modpack were working and 1.8 seems to be the best version for FML. Didn't notice anything relevant in any logs but will gladly post any potentially useful information. Any help to get things working or a fix would be much appreciated. I'm happy to help track down what is causing this.
