Switching to a Normal Forge Server #57

Hello! I have been playing a modpack that uses ServerStarter, and it has been quite useful when updating the server to the latest modpack version.

My issue now, is I would like to update my server's forge version and mods independently from the modpack and I'm not sure how to break away from ServerStarter, or if I can keep using ServerStarter without a modpack.

I tried changing the modloader version to the version I wanted, but that redownloaded the latest version of the modpack which reverted my mod updates.

You can either break away from ServerStarter and just use the files how you would normally start a forge server, there is nothing proprietary here.

However you could also try to set the modpackUrl to null or ~ which should stop it from downloading anything
