Need better error if someone tries to open an ePUB #27

I just downloaded the latest pre-release version (1.0.4) of the Bloom ePub viewer. I have tried downloading two different ePub books to make sure the viewer is working, but in both cases, when I try to open the books, I get this error: There was a problem displaying this book: Network Error It's not clear what sort of network error has occurred, but my Internet seems to be working fine. Both of the books have + characters in their names: 01+When+God+Made+Everything.epub ठिमेक्+आग्_याँचि.epub but since this version is supposed to be able to handle that, I don't guess that is the issue. I did try renaming the first one to remove the + characters, but that did not solve the problem. I looked on the Bloom Community site and also did a general search in Google and didn't find any evidence that this error has ever happened to anyone else. I did get one hit for "There was a problem displaying this book: Network Error", and I saw in the preview text for the resulting link something about enabling javascript, but when I click the link (which was not in English), it took me to a page that was displaying the book just fine. Not sure if I should be reporting this here, on the community site or somewhere else. There was nothing in the Bloom ePub Reader that gave any guidance as to how to report problems or where to look for solutions.

Thanks for reporting this. We haven't really started to try to handle BloomPUB Viewer bugs separate from all the other Bloom bugs. So I guess the best thing for now is to report them to issues@bloomlibrary.org. But we can tackle this one here.

Could you email me the two BloomPUB files you are trying to load? Thanks.

Note, the problem is trying to open an ePUB in the bloomPUB viewer. We could detect this and give a helpful editor.

Thanks, John. I totally missed that.

FWIW, it does seem to work considerably better with .bloom files. :-)
