been looking for yew trees for 2 days, help? #13

where do yew trees spawn? It says mountains but on medieval minecraft fabric 1.19.2 there is no mountain biome on the natures compass. I have tried the mountain tag biomes to no avail. Is it super rare to find?

From source code, I think they only spawn in EXTREME_HILLS biome category but I cannot find a comprehensive list of the biomes it includes.
