I already have factorio installed on my pc, but I don't know how to get factorio-render to use the assets. Could you guys create small documentation as to how to install and use factorio-render?

Thanks for your interest in the project! In it's current state, factorio-render is not ready to be used (and likely won't be working with the latest Factorio version). We may pick up this project again but as it currently stands this isn't going to be receiving any love from the original maintainers.

As for your question, you'll need to place the asset files in a factorio/ folder relative to the root of this project I believe. I believe you also need to generate a factorio data file but I'm almost certain that no longer works.

Going to leave this open for documentation if we end up picking this up again.
