Froth Flotation will turn crushed ores into concentrated ores, plus stone, plus subsidiary ore. Lots of subsidiary ore can be used in froth flotation to get any mineral. Primary purpose of Froth Flotation will be getting concentrated ores - haematite and cuprite primarily, but also all other primary ores present.

Most ores will require this crushing and frothing stage, but some such as haematite will be able to be used directly in a furnace, though with less efficiency. Basic access to the tech tree must be maintained, so haematite and cuprite should be usable without frothing and crushing - though frothing and crushing will be a significant upgrade to performance.
