My previous favicon implementation didn't work. I don't know how I saw the icon in the tab in the deploy preview, but maybe I had the icons in the static root when I did that screenshot. Anyway, I have now figured out how to do favicons right, in a way that plays well with the theme code. I have also improved how things will look when the app is added to the home screen on Android or iOS.
