Absolutely - thanks Nick.
I am happy to do this, and I will, but I am not able to assign myself on github

Try now? I just added you as a maintainer. Thanks Nick!
@absoludity I think I have identified the problem. Google Search Console points out that we have meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow" in the pages. That has come from the theme from this file. Looking at the theme repo readme, I find that we need to set HUGO_ENV=production hugo for the build command https://github.com/theNewDynamic/gohugo-theme-ananke/blob/master/README.md#production:~:text=To%20run%20in,HUGO_ENV%3Dproduction%20hugo The build runs on Netify though, and I don't have access to that. Can you please edit the build script or give me access to Netify so that I can do it?
Nice one Nick - yes, I'd just setup the deployment and left it - so it had the non-production nofollow :/
I've just updated the deploy command in netlify, redeployed and now it's got the correct:
<meta name="robots" content="index, follow">
Unfortunately I can't add other people to the netlify "team" without having to pay for an account, but if you're keen and plan to be around the club for the next year, just setup your own netlify account and we can transfer the deploys across from mine to yours (or work out a better way)?
Great, thanks @absoludity. I have requested Google to index the site and it's doing it now. I expect that the site will appear in search results pretty soon. Netify seems to work fine and I don't think the deployment will need to be modified very often, so I'm happy to leave things as they are and not to have access to it. When we're not being paid there is no point creating extra work ;)
When I search for "blue mountains soaring club" with Google, with or without the quotes, it is not found! This is a big problem because anyone who is not already connected with the club will have a very hard time finding the site, and it's also a cognitive strain for current members to remember the address. This should be fixed.
