Any update on this?
This fix should be pulled into the next nightly builds. Those are at http://dream3d.bluequartz.net/binaries/experimental/
Great, thanks Mike!
Mike,
I downloaded the nightly build (5.1.263-Win64) and noticed the MDF plot still displays total frequency on the y-axis.
The misorientation angle data taken from experimental EBSD scans is plotted versus number fraction (summing to 1), so they aren't equivalent.
Thoughts for moving forward?
Thanks.
You are correct! We fixed it for the Cubic Situation but not the hexagonal. Try again Friday morning.
Is there a particular reason the y-axis (labeled freq) now goes to values in the 100s? In the older version that I have (4.something), the freq value was a fraction. Which makes sense because misorientation distribution plots are typically angle versus number fraction. So the sum of the histrogram bars is 1.0. Therefore, I could directly import my data from my misorientation histogram into the MDF portion of StatsGenerator and see the resultant from importing that data. Now it seems just wash out because a value less than 1.0 is much less than something in the 100s.
