"Always display mail in plain text when available" prevents some attachments to be displayed #75

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Enable "Always display mail in plain text when available"
2. ask a friend to send you a number of mails with attachments (jpg, pdf, etc.)
3. Open the mails

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Some of the attachments will not be displayed (although Mail indicates they are 
here, with the 
paperclip icon and the correct size)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version of Mail & MacOS X
