A first step can be to enable debug logging at debug level in HA for the Bluetooth integration. The Bluetooth integration is responsible for receiving and forwarding incomming BLE messages to e.g. the BTHome integration. In the logs, check is a message is received on every button click. If not, an reception issue is more likely, if yes, please post the messages here, indicating which were correct in HA and which were not correct.
Hey guys, i can't exactly determine what could be the issue here but i assume someone here would be able to spot the possible issue right away.
I have used Shelly BLU RC Button 4, it was immediately detected with HomeAssistant, everything works well in ~70% of button press cases but other than that, it behaves as if there was no signal sent.
The setup is on RPI4 and RPI5.
I doubt it's signal strength but i'm more prone to think that some inner way of working, how to pick up the packet/signal could be the case.
Any idea how to figure this out? It would be an amazing to have those buttons in use with HA.
Thnx
