Memory Card Slot Mouser Part does not fit #1

The Memory Card PCMCIA selected in Mouser Part does not fit. Don't use.

Hi,

The NeoGeo uses a non-standard PCMCIA connector for the pins connecting to the PCB. Pin 1 starts on the 2nd row while all PCMCIA connectors out there have pin 1 on the first row. I've never been able to find a replacement other then sourcing from parts boards. You should consider just adjusting the PCB layout to work with a normal PCMCIA connector.

Aye, i have removed the part from my bom and reference, which is now version BF1.4

I am planing on doing a remaster of the board with more modern parts in places. PSU, Video, Memory Slot, Headphone Socket and Slider, Switch, SRAM

Maybe even SMD for resistors and caps.

adattatoreFRONT adattatoreBACK With my very very poor knowledge of kicad, i've made this adapter. I've tried the measure and maybe you have to cut the guide of the new pcmcia adapter (5535653-1), obviously you need to solder the adapter and cut the pins straight at max you can do.
