Use add-contributors with Jekyll? #30

Hi, I'm trying to add contributors in a page on a Jekyll site. I have managed to get this Action to work in the repo, but on the actual page, I see the raw html for the contributor icons.

I have not had a chance to dig into this and see if I can solve it, but as the documentation doesn't actually say anywhere that this can be used with Jekyll, I'm questioning whether I've made an erroneous assumption.

Can this be used with Jekyll, and do you know of a site using it so I can check out what they have done? Or, is there some known issue that causes this?

Changing the file where the output is written to an html one worked. Now the contributors show up on the site, but not in the repo. Which is fine.
