You have name misspelled in this line Thing waterSensor HomeWaterSensor [ smartthingsNmae="Water Leak Sensor" ]
In this item definition:
Contact HomeWaterSensor "Water Sensor1" {channel="smartthings:waterSensor:SmartThingsHub:HomeWaterSensor:waterSensor"}
waterSensor at the end should be just water
You have the same issue in the other item definition.
In the waterSensor item it needs to be set up as a String, not Contact.
These are the issues that jumped out right away, there may be other issues to. I do believe the binding works but I'll admit the setup is complicated
In the next few days I'll be moving and won't have access to my computer for a couple of weeks. Just so you know if I don't respond quickly.

Cannot see the items displaying correctly in my BasicUI screen. I believe I have linked Smartthings Control Classic correctly to OpenHab. The devices are not working. I am working with 2 devices - Smartthings MotionSensor & WaterSensor. I believe somethings is sent to openHAB 2. However, it is not integrating correctly. Any Help would be appreciated. Seth
