We converged to a "blocks" design for the Realm landing page. Note that this is similar to the sidebar sections design (and indeed the Text block will be shared across both).

Very nice to have:
[ ] Boards display is divided by category (blocked on receiving categories from server)
[ ] Board display is cuter & allows hiding/muting/seeing details without having to enter the board itself
[x] Information about the blocks to display is returned by the server with finalized REST API design, even if hardcoded (as opposed to hardcoded on the client)
Stretch goals:
[ ] Update the current "Post Quote" display in the main page
[ ] "Pinned links" block
