Interesting. I can't reproduce with Kobo Aura One 4.26.16704 when searching with the "magnifier glass" icon

Is it only for "soleil", do you search for it with the "magnifier glass" icon or do you highlight the word in a book ?

bigornoo commented 3 years ago

Both cases.

BoboTiG commented 3 years ago

It works for me too (Libra H2O).

How did you install the dictionary? Is it old?

bigornoo commented 3 years ago

It's the french dictionary. Extract from Wiktionary on the April, 2 (de mémoire). I've installed it in .kobo/custom_dict. And I've named it dicthtml-fr-fr.zip. I can see it in the parameters, and its size, about 30 MB.

bigornoo commented 3 years ago

I think I must test something : my Mac automatically unzip the downloaded dictionary file. Then I zip the folder, not the content (ie the files in this folder). Is this root folder the problem perhaps ?

BoboTiG commented 3 years ago

Do not unzip the file. Simply donwload it and copy/move it to .kobo/custom-dict/dicthtml-fr-fr.zip. Exactly that folder and that file names.

bigornoo commented 3 years ago

Yes : it was that. Safari automatically unzip all zip files in a folder which have the name of the .zip file. I have re-zipped the folder that where there was an error. I've seen in the same .zip file downloaded by Chrome that all the files are in the root of the .zip file, not in a folder himself at he root of the .zip file. I hope to be more or less clear in my explanations. Thanks for your time. Have a very nice day 👍 😄
