version string of 2.1.6 still showing beta0 #63

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

2.1.6

Wow - something seems very wrong.  The 2.1.6 isn't on the master branch!

I've merged 2.1.6 into master, but the actual tag isn't going to move -- 2.1.6 
is 
never going to be on the master branch so I'm going to have to issue a 2.1.7.

Now that the missing commit has been found (thanks!), I'll look into the 
versioning.

Not able to reproduce this...  Closing for now, but will reopen if this remains 
after 2.1.7 is released.
