My TFT-ILI9341 Don´t work with this library. it just goes black, I am working on esp32.

VCC= 3.3V LED=3.3V

define TFT_MISO 19

define TFT_MOSI 23

define TFT_SCLK 18

define TFT_CS 15 // Chip select control pin

define TFT_DC 4 // Data Command control pin

define TFT_RST 2 // Reset pin (could connect to RST pin)

what am I doing wrong? The examples themselves do nothing

Run the diagnostic sketch Read_User_Setup which outputs diagnostic information to the serial monitor window. Check all pins are listed as you expect. Post output here.

The diagnostic sketch indicates the software is expect the display DC pin to be wired to GPIO 0. Check the right setup file is being used or rewire DC to GPIO 0.

rasuncion19 commented 4 years ago

I've rewired and it still doesn't work

Bodmer commented 4 years ago

Check the User_Setup_Select.h file has been editted correctly to calling up ONE setup file. I think it is pointing to the default User_Setup.h file which is the settings for an ESP8266.

Provide more inforrmation on your software setup:

Does the tft backlight glow?

rasuncion19 commented 4 years ago

yes

Bodmer commented 4 years ago

I can't see anything obvious wrong. Using GPIO 0 may be an issue as it has alternative functions at boot time. Edit Setup.h for the ESP32 using the GPIO i suggested, by default ESP8266 pins are defined and these must be commented out. Make sure only that setup header file is being called up in User_Setup_Select.h. Wire TFT using those pins. Run the Read_User_Setup again and check the pins are correct.

Hello?

I suspect you have not eddited the setup files correctly. As I cannot see them all I can only guess what you have done wrong.

Therefore to get back to a known state:

Hello?

rasuncion19 commented 4 years ago

Thanks for your help, these days I have been busy, tomorrow I will try it without fail.

Bodmer commented 4 years ago

Assumed to be a user error.

Ramiiyan commented 2 years ago

Hi All, I also experienced the same. As i check we need to change the pins(Hardware) as below.

#define TFT_DC    0  // Data Command control pin
#define TFT_RST 2 // Reset pin (could connect to RST pin)

After that, it working as expected.
