2d light system? #212

First of all, I found this project really reliable and fun! My only concern is there any way to implement 2d light system? if not it would be nice to have this feature.

Hey there, I'm glad you're enjoying the engine!

Unfortunately there is no 2D light system at the moment, but I'm 100% open to adding one in!

We can use this issue to track the work, but it will likely be a long time before I personally can get to it. I'm unfamiliar with lighting techniques and standards, so I would need to do research.
