airmon-ng requires the program iw

Do you have any idea what may have caused this bug?  Guesses are helpful!

What operating system are you running? Backtrack 5 R2? 32 or 64 bit?
Blackbuntu?
Linux debian 2.6.32-5-686

What version of the wifite are you using?
WiFite v2 (r85)

Please provide any additional information below.  A paste of the error is
very helpful!

I"m having this issue as welll... But I'm trying to get wifite working on my 
MacBook. I've gotten it open, but it crashes when it says it doesn't have the 
met iw dependancy. Downloaded and installed iw, but receive errors when i try 
and make the file. In the README it says I have to point PKG_CONFIG to where 
libnl is. when I went to try and locate it I had issues.... Anyone have any 
suggestions?

Solve it by installing iw ( sudo apt-get install iw )

You CAN NOT run wifite on a macbook or any mac OS system. The reason is that 
wifite require aircrack, airodump, aireplay, etc ... And only aircrack can be 
installed on mac.
There is no portage of airodump on mac, resulting in the impossibility to 
capture packets. Many different tools have been made for mac. The most famous 
one is "Kismac", witch sadly is not fully automated but can be used to crack 
wep and wpa
