The actuation lever and ball bearing get stuck in the actuated position under the sensor. It does not return to the original position when filament is removed rendering it useless.
This appears to be due to the magnet in the lever being attracted to the M3 bolt used to connect the housing to the rest of the extruder. It could also be due to too much friction between the arm and the housing. This occurs even with the axis bolt is loose.
