Sadly I will not be able to update this widget on a short term. If such feature is important and you need a quick feedback I think the best option is to reach out to Bonitasoft

Thank you for your reply. I have done various tests after my comment. Your plugin works on 7.5.4, but not in the portal ui. Apologies if I am mistaken. It seems that the parent iframe has its own tasks after a form submission, and the child iframe cannot complete its own. It is too odd that this functionality is not supported by default. Page flow is not a solution, as in various cases there is a need to implement service tasks, gateways, etc, between human tasks.

Do you have any suggestions regarding the redirection to the next human task in the portal? E.g. tampering with the portal code? Implementing intervals within the parent iframe?

Hi,

unfortunately I can no longer tell you my success story.

A vital part of my success with Bonita BPM till recently has been the ability to use the "redirect-next-task-widget" as found on the github link above.

Unfortunately this has always been a contributed widget, as in not supported by Bonita, and is no longer able to be supported by the developer.

I'm now in a situation where I find it impossible to migrate my BPs to the newer versions of Bonita BPM. This leads me to wonder what I should now do.

I like others have specialized needs for this widget and request that Bonita make this widget a formal part of he system.

Yes, it does actually matter.

I've been with Bonita BPM since version 5, the facility has always been there in one way or another. I request, nee demand :) that the "redirect-next-task-widget" become part of the official release of Bonita BPM, if necessary starting at 7.7.0. But it must become part of the system otherwise I will have to look at other tools...

My needs are very specific, specialized and cannot be changed...

I hope you will look at this requirement with favour and agree to add it to the official release so it will always work..
