6 years ago Im having the same issue.
I put the task immediately after Get Sources task and configured. I pointed the task directly at my .csproj file. I added a Publish task immediately after so I could verify the changes to the .csproj and nothing has changed. The logging for the task shows it starts, some version info for the extension and then that it is finished. Nothing else. I cannot see anywhere to set the verbosity of logging for the extension. Any help is appreciated.
