4 years ago I've had similar issues on Linux when Alt-Tabbing back to the application after using a different fullscreen application for a long while. Simply dragging or resizing the window fixes this entirely for me. I'll try to get a screenshot of this.
For now let's see if anyone knows what might be the cause of this.

4 years ago Here is an example of this problem on Linux. I also noticed that you don't have to minimize the application for this to occurs. Simply having another window on a different monitor in focus can trigger this:

4 years ago I had a slightly similar issue, where I left Boostnote open but minimised for a long time, maybe a few days or so, then when I went back to open it the entire window (apart from the title bar and minimise/maximise/close buttons) was black and unresponsive. It started working again when I closed and reopened the app.
I originally thought it was maybe caused by me restarting explorer.exe but probably not.
The issue hasn't happened since, but will probably reoccur some day.
Using: Windows 10 Pro x64, Build 18363 Boostnote version: 0.7.0

4 years ago @huzibizi You're using the new BoostNote.next app. This issue is concerning Boostnote Legacy. Please create a new issue in the other repo.
Current behavior
I have this issue that the application starts glitching and blurs everything. This happens when the application is not the main focus, and I use another. Right now, the issue also happens when in full screen.
Expected behavior
The screen should be working normally. I have boostnote on my mac and it works fine.
Steps to reproduce
It's weird as not always happens, but when I hover the mouse over the application when the main focus is another application. I had the same issue with VSCode but the fix was to disable the gpu.
