vim esc key doesn't bring me back to normal mode #3705
When I am in insert mode and I press ESC I just stay stuck in insert mode.
Expected behavior
When I am in insert mode and I press ESC I want it to bring me back to normal mode.
Steps to reproduce
Go to settings and select vim keymappings,
then go to a file and press i to enter insert mode,
then press esc.
Environment
Boostnote version: 0.16.1
OS version and name: Ubuntu 18.04.2
Also I can't figure out how to even change in which folder I store a file. I liked Boostnote before you guys started pressuring me to 'try cloud' everywhere. I woulf be very happy to try cloud if your platform was as good as the previous version and didn't have bugs, --I was considering donating, but the new version of boostnote is considerably worse than the last. I've been using boostnote since the very beginning when everything was stored in .cson files and now I'm thinking of switching to Roam, the software now costs me more time than it saves.
Sorry for the rude comment, admittedly I was hungry at the time of writing. You guys are doing an amazing job, thanks for Boostnote! Although I do wish you made it easier to install previous versions of the software.
